About my-Bio Founder: Dr. Bala Rangaswami

My-Bio is a bio-identical hormone replacement therapy medical facility founded by Dr. Bala Rangaswami. Dr. Bala received his undergraduate degree in Chemistry, with a specialty in organic chemistry, from Duke University. He then continued his education at the University of Louisville Medical School where he earned his Doctor of Medicine. Dr. Bala then completed both his internship and residency in internal medicine at Indiana University Medical Center.

Before founding My-Bio, Dr. Bala was the chief of the largest primary care practice in Shelby County, Indiana. Dr. Bala has cared for over 7,000 patients and during his 7 year tenure in Shelby County, he achieved the distinction of Best Physician and Most Compassionate Doctor Award four years in a row, as polled in the Shelby News.

After years of running a private practice specializing in primary care, Dr. Bala began to realize that normal treatments were ill equipped to provide relief to patients who suffered from lack of sleep, energy, and focus, as well as, hot flashes, lack of libido, and other issues that left patients with limited options. In order to help his patients, Dr. Bala began to investigate and educate himself on bio-identical hormone therapy, which has been established as a valuable addition to the practice of medicine.

The advent of bio identical hormones safely restore balance in patients bodies because they mirror the hormones that naturally occur in the human body.
